Introduction to the Lovejoy Diaries

The Lovejoy Diaries comprise four bound volumes written between 1886 and 1902 and describe life in frontier Wyoming. Volumes 1 and 2 were written by Dr. Walter Lovejoy, Volume 3 was written by Fred Lovejoy, Walter's younger brother, and Volume 4 was written by Walter and his sons, James and Addison.
