Visiting Family In Salt Lake
We got up this morning, had a quick breakfast and headed for Kaysville, Utah, a suburb of Salt Lake City, to visit my nephews and nieces. My younger brother died in a motorcycle accident 16 years ago- a car pulled out of a driveway without looking- and his widow moved back home to Salt Lake City and remarried a few years later. The drive went well and we arrived in Kaysville a bit before lunch and visited until a bit after 4:00. We joined the family for dinner, smash burgers and salads, and then said our good byes. It was a nice visit. We've only had a chance to see them a few times over the years, but I always look forward to, and enjoy, our get togethers.
We rented a room in nearby Layton, Utah, and arrived around 5:00. We rested up a bit. I worked on the computer for a while and Connie took a short walk. Later in the evening, we walked to a nearby Chilis for an appetizer.
