Laundry and Lander
We slept in a bit as the temperature was pleasant and then made Denver omelettes for breakfast. Connie started late on laundry, which meant I started late for Lander to pick up a few groceries and exchange a nearly empty and dated propane tank. I also made a quick stop at Family Dollar to pick up a few pieces of poster board.
At Safeway, in Lander, I purchased a (farmed) Atlantic salmon fillet. Once back to South Pass City, I dry brined it and left it sit open to the air in the refrigerator for a few hours. I would have preferred to dry brine over night, but this is dinner! I smoked the salmon at 225 for a couple of hours and it was wonderful.
After dinner I read and watched a podcast and Connie read and shelled pecans. A quiet and relaxing day.
