Another Windy Day
We generally go fishing on Wednesdays, but the winds were predicted to be quite strong and they were- gusts over 50 miles per hour. Wyoming is the windiest state in the country and it is living up to its reputation! However, winds are predicted to be much lighter tomorrow, so we postponed our fishing trip.
We drove down into Lander top buy groceries. We stopped at the Red Canyon scenic outlook for a few minutes to enjoy the view (above). I spent most of the day working on the computer. Connie had set up a sourdough starter yesterday and made sourdough English muffins. She was busy most of the afternoon with the muffins and her various other projects. I grilled a couple of pork chops for dinner, they cooked quickly even given the wind. After dinner, we pickled some zucchini and Connie used the leftover starter to make sourdough crackers.
